Ah that's my bad - not sure how I missed that! But excellent review of Chris's book!
As someone who grew up in a 2-up/2-down terrace council house in Hyson Green, Nottingham with no bathroom and an outhouse toilet in the back yard (til 1974), the topic of Nottingham council housing is close to my heart (my mum was born in 1931 and brought up on the new Broxtowe /Aspley estate).
Excellent piece, tho a shame no mention of Chris Matthews' work "Homes and Places: A history of Nottingham's Council Houses" (2015).
The article was written one year before the book was published but you'll find a review of Chris's excellent book published on the blog in 2015: https://municipaldreams.wordpress.com/2015/12/08/book-review-homes-and-places-a-history-of-nottinghams-council-houses/

No problem and thank you. I wrote a bit more on Nottingham's council housing here which you might be interested in: https://municipaldreams.wordpress.com/2018/06/19/8951/
Ah, that's a great piece! Fun fact: my senior school was William Crane Comprehensive in Aspley.
